Find the lady is a more sensible book of poems… as urgent and exciting as its name… a fresh literary voice… one that totally earns Paillette Zukofsky’s provocative observation: “In short, mailorder bride the story should live in the reader’s mind. ” In essence, the publication is a contemporary interpretation (and extension) of Donne’s classic Reformation narrative. While Manne’s romantic relationship with JoAnne is sophisticated and deeply felt, it might be important to remember that the woman Cabas fell in love with was his own mother. As a result, there exists plenty of intra-family conflict and intrigue to get resolved.
And so, seems like this may be the tip from the iceberg in the way to find person stories.
